The CWECT committee is comprised of representatives from the Kawartha District School board, PVNC, Victoria County Career Services, Northern Lights Canada, Trent University, Fleming College, Kawartha Haliburton Childrens Aid Society and Highland Shores Childrens Aid Society. Together we work at building stronger connections between each of our individual agencies in order to provide seemless services to our youth in care. By strengthening our relationships and communication we can better support you in your journey to obtain meaningful employment and/or a post secondary education.
Outside of the CWECT committee each school within the Kawartha Pine Ridge and Trillium Lakelands District School Board and the Peterborough, Victoria, Northumberland and Clarington Catholic District School Board has Crown Ward Education Championship Teachers. These school championship teachers are there to support you as youth in care to help support and guide you within your present academics and to help you achieve your future goals for meaningful employment and /or post secondary education.
